TWP Stain Retailers

The TWP Official Online Dealers and Distributors:

Be wary of certain sites selling TWP, not all are stocking dealers and we have heard many complaints about customers not receiving their orders promptly or at all.

Select Paint Stores and Lumberyards

TWP is available in select markets and retail stores across the country.  Best to contact the manufacturers for possible locations. In many cases, it is not available locally. It may be easier and less expensive to purchase from one of the 2 sites above.

Big Box Stores

TWP is not sold in Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, etc. To do this, TWP would either have to change its formula or move operations offshore, to be competitive with the “big box” brands sold there.

How do I know which water based TWP stain to buy to re-stain and restore my old deck. I need to try to match the current color also.
I live in Kansas and the weather can be extreme.
Can you supply color samples? And, will you ship to me?

Purchased a gallon of TWP100 clear and the date on the can says Feb 21 2023. The other cans previously purchased had dates of 2026. Should I use it or return it?

Where to buy locally in 44147? I’ve found info that Ace Hardware, True Value and Wurz locally sell your stains? Also, the comment sections should have a search feature check to see if local areas have already been asked about. $25. for shipping is not something I’m interested in.

I have a redwood deck 2 years old. I put TWP 1530 on it 17 months ago following new wood prep guides after it had seasoned for 6 months thru the hot months. It gets heavy sun in the summer but is shaded in the winter so you can see the condition of the stain now. I’d like to do a maintenance coat with the same 1530 color. Can I just do the cleaner and brightener before applying or do I need to use a stripper due to the condition of the stain? Also, I still have left over stain from 17 months ago. It was well sealed and still seems to be in good condition once shaken and stirred. Can I still still use that?

Some of the existing stain is completely gone as you can see in the photos (the gray areas are where stain has worn off). If I apply the maintenance coat will everything come out somewhat consistent/even or are there going to be huge differences in appearance in the parts where there is still some stain vs where the stain is gone. It doesn’t need to be perfectly matching – just curious how big of a difference it might make.
